Ingredients

½ ea. Banana, fresh, peeled, 1 inch cubes
½ ea. Cucumber, english, washed, peeled, seeded, 1 inch cubes
½ ea. Celery, fresh, stalks only, washed, dried, 1 inch cubes
8 leaves Spinach, fresh, washed, dried
2 leaves Kale, fresh, washed, dried and stems removed
½ oz. Ginger, fresh, peeled, 1 inch cubes
¼ ea. Granny Smith Apple, fresh, washed, dried, cored, 1 inch cubes
1 tbsp. Lemon, juice
c. Coconut Water, pulp free
1 ea. Top of celery stalk, with leaves

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Peeler
  • Foodservice gloves
  • Cutting board
  • To-go cup

Preparation

  1. In a high speed blender combine all ingredients as follows: banana, cucumber, celery, spinach, kale, ginger, apples, lemon juice and coconut water.
  2. Blend on high until smooth. Transfer to a to-go cup and serve immediately, garnishing with celery stalk with leaves.
  3. Made to order, serve cold.
