Preparation
- Pour 1 box of chocolate dessert base in a medium sauce pot. Cook on medium heat until liquid reaches 185°F.
- Once cooked, let cool for 5-10 minutes.
Wearing food service gloves
- Place contents of chocolate pudding mix in a bowl, add ½ of the Rich's whipped cream topping and mix with whisk to fully incorporate.
- Fold in the other ½ of the whipped cream topping with a rubber spatula until fully incorporated.
- Place the mousse in a plastic container with a layer of plastic wrap on top of the mousse so a skin does not form. Place a lid on the container and store under refrigeration until ready to use.
