Red Velvet Cake Cream Cheese Icing

Notes

Merry Chef settings: 475°F for 40 seconds with 35% fan and 35% microwave.

Ingredients

1 ea. Red velvet mini bundt cake, sub recipe
oz. Cream cheese icing, sub recipe

Equipment

  • Foodservice gloves
  • Plastic to-go container

Preparation

  1. Place cream cheese in a pastry bag, cut the tip off (½ inch) leaving a small hole for the cream cheese to come out
  2. With pastry bag pipe in 1½ ounces of the cream cheese frosting into the center of the bundt cake. Store under refrigeration until ordered.

Once ordered and if customer wishes to have cake heated

  1. Remove bundt cake from to-go container, with icing, from refrigeration and place on a sizzle tray and put in the Merry Chef.
  2. Cook using the settings provided above
  3. Remove from Merry Chef, with caution, and place in to-go container.
  4. Serve immediately to guest.
