Bacon, Cheddar and Egg Presseta Prep

Notes

Merry Chef Setting: 1 1/2 minutes at 475 degree Fahrenheit with 100% microwave and 100% fan.

Wearing foodservice gloves.

Ingredients

1 ea. ItalCrust Oval Crust (6" x 9"), thawed
1 slice. White Cheddar Cheese, sliced
2 slices. Bacon, sliced, cooked
2 ea. Eggs, whole, large

Equipment

  • Foodservice gloves
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Preparation

  1. Crack the eggs in a non-stick pan that has been sprayed with oil.
  2. Break the yolks and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place in the the Merry Chef using the settings above.
  4. Remove from oven and refrigerate until ready to build the rest of the sandwich.


Pre-heat Panini grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  1. Place crust on cutting board. Bubbled side should be facing up and the length of the crust should be going from left to right..
  2. Top the left half of the crust with cheese followed by the bacon and egg.
  3. Fold the right side of the crust over top of the left to close sandwich, wrap sandwich in white parchment paper.
  4. Place on pre-heated Panini machine, close cover and grill for 3 minutes.
  5. Remove from grill, cool and refrigerate until ordered.
