Turkey and Swiss Sandwich

Wearing foodservice gloves.

Ingredients

2 ea. Whole wheat honey bread, sliced
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard, Grey Poupon
1 tbsp. Herb'n Aioli, sub recipe
2 leaves Bibb lettuce, washed and dried well
2 slices Tomato, washed, ¼" slice
4 oz. Turkey breast, spec, sliced
2 slices Swiss cheese, spec, sliced

Equipment

  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Foodservice gloves
  • To-go bag
  • Spoon

Preparation

  1. Spread the mustard on one slice of bread, aioli on the other slice.
  2. Place the lettuce on top of the mustard.
  3. Top with the tomato.
  4. Top with turkey breast.
  5. Top with Swiss cheese.
  6. Place other slice of bread on top, with aioli touching the cheese to close the sandwich.
  7. Place in the to-go out bag as shown below.
