Merry Chef Setting: 1 minute 20 seconds at 475°F with 40% microwave and 100% fan.

Ingredients

1 ea. Ciabatta, square, 4x4
1 tbsp. Ken’s horseradish cream
4 oz. Roast beef, sliced thin
1 ea. Havarti cheese, sliced
1 ea. Green leaf lettuce, washed and dried
2 ea. Tomato, sliced
3 ea. Red onion, washed, peeled, sliced, raw

Equipment

  • Foodservice gloves
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Bowl
  • Metal spatula

Preparation

  1. Cut the ciabatta in half horizontally.
  2. Spread the horseradish cream on the inside of both sides of the bread.
  3. Top the bottom roll with the roast beef.
  4. Follow with the cheese on top of the roast beef.
  5. Place top of roll on Merry Chef mesh pan.
  6. Place the sandwich on the mesh screen and carefully place in the Merry Chef using the specified Merry Chef setting.
  7. Remove the sandwich from the oven and allow to rest for 30 seconds on a heat proof surface.
  8. Top the now melted cheese with the lettuce, tomato and onions. Close the sandwich.
  9. Place in the to-go container and serve immediately.
