Ingredients

4 c. Sugar, white granulated
4 c. Water, tap
3 lbs. Cherries, Dark IQF, pitted, thawed

Equipment

  • Rubber Spatula
  • Pot
  • Stove
  • Plastic storage container
  • Measuring one cup
  • Measuring cups

Preparation

1. Boil sugar and water in a pot until the sugar is completely dissolved.    

2. Pour the simple syrup over the cherries in a plastic storage container. Allow to stand overnight before using.

3. Cover and refrigerate for one day before using.
