Roasted Almonds Prep

Ingredients

1 lb. Almonds, blanched, raw
½ oz. Blended Oil, canola and olive
2 tsp. Salt, kosher
1 tbsp. Sugar In the Raw
¼ c. Herb'n Fresh Herb Mix, sub recipe, minced

Equipment

  • Silpat
  • Half sheet tray
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula

Preparation

Preheat convection to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

  1. In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients except the Herb'n Fresh Herb Mix and toss well to combine.
  2. Lay out on to a half sheet tray lined with the silpat.
  3. Place in preheated oven and roast for 8 minutes until fragrant and golden brown.
  4. Remove from oven and place back into mixing bowl and toss with the minced Herb'n Fresh Herb Mix and toss well to coat.
  5. Let cool in bowl at room temperature. Once cooled put in an air tight container and store at room temperature.
